Excellent Explanation Writing in P3/P4

Over the past six weeks, the genre of writing pupils in P3/P4 have been focusing on is Explanation Writing (explaining how how something works or why something happens). The pupils used this as a cross-curricular opportunity to interweave their learning in Literacy, World Around Us and ICT to create paired digital "Sways" which are attached below. The pupils have ensured that they included sections/paragraphs (stages); temporal connectives/conjunctions; technical vocabulary; diagrams; alongside ensuring that their sentences read well and use the appropriate punctuation.
