I would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to all of the Primary 4 children who celebrated their First Holy Communion in St. Patrick's church on Sunday 7th June. You were outstanding—conducting yourselves with such grace, respect, and reverence throughout the Mass. Parents you should be incredibly proud of your children.
A special word of thanks goes to Fr. McDevitt, for the beautiful mass on this his last Holy Communion in the parish. I would like to wish him every blessing and hope his retirement will be a long and happy one.
A word of thanks also to Mr O 'Neill, Miss Mc Aleer, Mrs Conwell and Mrs Conway for their help with the 'Do This in Memory of Me' masses, in preparation for this special day.
Thanks also to Oonagh Conway for the beautiful music and the school choir who helped to make this occasion so memorable for our children.
Finally, thank you to the children and their families for your commitment, effort, and preparation in making this such a special and memorable day. May this be the beginning of many meaningful celebrations of Communion in the years ahead.
