I would like to say a huge well done to all the children in P4 who completed their First Holy Communion in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenmornan, today! The children were absolutely brilliant and acted with the utmost grace and reverence throughout the Mass - parents/guardians, you should be so proud of your children! I would like to give a special word of thanks to Fr. Sweeney, Fr McDevitt, Mrs Conway, Mrs Moore, Mrs Kerlin and Mr O’Neill for everything that they have done to make today so special for our children. I would also like to thank Glenmornan Community Association for the fabulous array of refreshments that were provided after the Mass. Finally, I would like to thank the children and their parents/guardians for their hard work, determination and commitment in making this a day to remember. I hope this is the first of many communions in which the children will participate throughout their lives.
