As part of their World Around Us topic, “Under the Sea”, pupils have been learning all about the role of the producer (green plants) in a food chain. As a result, pupils have been very busy exploring the process of photosynthesis and have planted their own seeds to observe how plants need minerals, water, sunlight and carbon dioxide to grow. The pupils also discussed the different variables that impact the growth of a plant and examined how to ensure that a fair test is conducted. Super investigation work, P3/P4!
