God our Father, as we begin a new school year we acknowledge that it is, like all years, a gift from you. The year ahead will bring opportunities, challenges, joys and sadness but we know your son Jesus, is with us each day, re-igniting our hope as we walk together as members of His body. May our hearts and minds be open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, so that we may nurture and care for all those in our school community. We make this prayer to you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
