Last week each class throughout the school celebrated National Poetry day. The theme this year was ‘play.’ Our Primary 1 and 2 children came together in groups to gather their thoughts on what play means to them. We collated their ideas and created a joint poem. These children taught us all an extremely valuable lesson, they taught us the importance of play and how necessary it is to this stage of their learning journey. I think the pictures of their play this week will highlight how much learning and skill development takes place during this important part of their curriculum.
