We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by families over the past few weeks who have helped to enrich the children’s learning experiences. A huge thank you to Kevin Doherty for supplying the Foundation Stage with tyres and planks of wood. These resources will add so much to our outdoor learning area and provide the children with even more opportunities to explore, investigate, and play creatively. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Harkin family for bringing in one of their newborn lambs as part of our Spring on the Farm topic. This was a very special experience for the children and helped bring their learning to life in a meaningful and memorable way. Finally, a heartfelt thanks to Kieran O’Kane, who so generously gave his time to visit the school and lead an engaging PE session. The enthusiasm, energy, and enjoyment shown by the children on the day were a real joy to see. We are incredibly appreciative of the support shown by our families. These experiences make a real difference to the children’s learning experiences and are a wonderful example of the home-school partnership in action.
